Hey...If you're doing the MRA shuttle, best to be a little closer to town. Most of the sites along the river are basically 'dirt farming' - very dusty, worn out campsites that will be filled with hard-drinking fishermen this time of year. But... About 0.75 Mi past Gold Ledge campground, on the right will be a dirt road. This leads to a network of roads near Salmon Creek. Lots of spaces here, some very nice. Also, a little further up the highway, across Salmon Creek, are more little roads on the right.

If you are doing a home-brew shuttle, the best camping is up near Sherman Pass. The closest I've camped to Sherman Pass is the Mosquito Meadow Road, which the Cannell Trail crosses a couple times in it's first few miles.

And, just over Sherman Pass, there are several roads branching left and right that will have good camping.

Have a safe trip. Don't misunderestimate the ride...It's a rough day out by anybody's standards!
