 I Crashed My New Bike

Ok! So It's not mine. I could never afford such a sweet rig. But it was strange to find this little girl's bike abandoned on the side of Mendenhall Ridge Rd.

Saturday, I took the train out to Acton and did the Mt Gleason to Condor Pk and then home ride. I stopped to climb the summits of both Condor and Fox Pks. Kinda hazy out there but a nice ride. Very few of them pesky little black flies.

HAPPY BIKE TO WORK WEEK!!!

I want the colored plastic spoke ties on my bike! The baby pink and blue would look absolutely wonderful and make a stunning contrast to my black spokes. <8^). Actually, Specialized's first competition Team Stumpjumpers were painted pink, back in the day. I have the coffee table book of '25 years of the Stumpjumper'. An inexact qoute from memory "You'd better be fast riding a pink bike".

Also, my bud still has a 'real' Mongoose from the day, that is hot pink and has the popular early 90's 'splatter' paint in black and white on top of the pink. He nicknamed it "Pinky"....
