 El Camino vs Juicy 7....
What is the verdict? Building up a new frame and the price has come down on the Hayes so it is in the running now. The build will be xc, not "all mtn" and consider that I'm HEAVY before you reply. Overall performance is important not the lightest brakes.

ODB if you should see this Your e-mail did not work for me, try mine just remove nospam

MountianBike Actin mag just did a shoot-out with Hayes vs Avid vs Magura vs Shimano. Just what you're looking for.

Tough call, but I'd go with the El Camino's. (cause I like the name)

Santa brought me a set of Juicy 7's and so far I'm pleased. Set up was a breeze and once they were broken in they seem to stop pretty darn good. I almost launched myself over the bars when I grabbed a hand full to see what they would do. I'm just switching from rim brakes (XTR) so I don't have a lot of experience with discs, but I'm happy so far.
