To get to Morro Bay State Park form San Luis Obispo, get on Highway 1 headed North. Drive approximately 10-12mile and take the first turn off into Morro Bay, I belive it is Occonor Way. Make A left onto Occonor and travel about 2 miles. The trailhead is on the left hand side of the road. trailhead parking is ample and can fit about 10 cars. The terrain at the park consists of primarily twisting single track without any really technical section although there are a few. there are about ten to fifteen miles of trails, which can be made into many different and interesting loops. I highly reccomend these trails for those people who are going on a training ride and would like to simulate race conditions or to someone who just wants to out for a fun ride. It is also a good place to take beginner riders because of the varrying technical sections and loops. Enjoy the ride.
