Never heard of them, unless they're a very low production custom builder or a one-off brand sold somewhere out east.

Are you sure you're not asking about Land Shark? They build custom mountain and road bikes up in Oregon.

I first saw this bike on an infomercial. It has an automatic gear shift w/low and high gear possitions in the hand grip. Wider seat with shock absorber. The rider is in an up-right possition while riding, and other options. It apears to be a bike for the less extreme rider. landrider.com

It looks like its some sort of an AutoBike. The only direct refence to a LandBike is HERE. Either way, stay away from the thing. Its gotta be bad news.

BTW, I found it with Google. A Google search is a wonderful thing, right Chuqster?

We purchased LandRider bikes via the TV Infomercial. We have not used them yet, so can't give you any personal info. However, we know one of their sponsors personally; he and wife are "Round the World" riders, and use LandRiders. Their website is; www.wordlriders2.com/SponsorsAndFriends.asp. You might find some of the answers you are looking for there. Also we have talked to a couple of local riders and they have the highest praise for the bikes. Good Luck

In the June 2003 issue of CONSUMER REPORTS they test 8 comfort bikes , Land Rider being one of them.

The CR rated the Land Blower the lowest of all. Nuff said.
