Livestrong Wrist Bands
I received my re-order of Livestrong Wrist Bands tonight, and have four left that were not previously committed.
I was going to give the last four up free-of-charge; but I decided that since they are going to mountain bikers, they would have to work for them.
I did not want to make this a contest of speed, so the first four riders who e-mail me that they completed any 3 of the SSDoP hills (no dabs), and e-mail me a copy of their letter sent to the Board of Supervisors, will take a wrist band.
Offer ends this Sunday at dusk. You have four days to complete three climbs and e-mail your letter off to the Board of Supervisors and cc a copy to me with your three completed climbs.
I will post the four winners on Monday the 23rd by 9:00 am. Posted by JamR a 49 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Few bikes from Capo on 08/18/04

Rule clarification:
If HLD is in the competition, Old Emerald is a pre-requisite clean between now and Sunday :) Posted by JamR a 49 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Few bikes from Capo on 08/18/04

That's not fair...I have my daughter and can't go ride. I'll send you a copy of my letter though. I bought wrist bands and gave them away, even the one I was wearing. I need another. Posted by El Jefe on 08/19/04

ok ok, I have one I was saving, but I'll let it go as long as I get a copy of your letter.
However, if you crash on the first lap at Hurkey Creek, you have to give it back :)
I have the HLD crash pool going, but most people seem to be picking the first lap for your crash, so I may have to modify the pool and add mile markers so we can bet on where you will crash also. Posted by JamR a 49 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Few bikes from Capo on 08/19/04

Yeah yeah, I haven't crashed in 6 months.... :-)
Whenever I try to email you, it gets bounced back. Just show up to Ezyridrs get-together this evening and I'll give you a hard copy.
Actually, I still have not heard back from anyone from my initial email. I think I'll send another soon.

In the crash pool, who's got DNS? Posted by Duggle a ancient year old riding a Motiv XCE from San Diego on 08/19/04

The only way I'll get a DNS is if I make the DH nationals. I'm probably headed to Durango next week, and if not I'll go to Tahoe in early September, but I doubt seriously I'll do much in the way of placing. Adam, I got your message late Wednesday, and didn't have time to call you back. I'll be in my office at the Residence House at Irvine on Sunday if you have a chance to swing by.
Thanks again! Posted by DeRanger on 08/20/04
