                It looks like the pix shortcut biffs when the image is too large. If you want to use the shortcuts and not html, use a photo editing progam to re-size the image. Photoshop, PhotoDeluxe, Adobe PhotoElement, Picture It, etc. Resizing saves server space for you and helps the image load faster. I suppose you could shoot in a smaller mode as well.

                The spider image is 504x378 pixels, kinda strange size since I cropped it. 400x300 works well too. Try resizing the image and post again.

            via pix shortcut. The file extension really is a capital JPG. Looks like the shortcut converts it to lower case. Interesting that it isn't a problem straight html.
