But, I will tell you that my quad 8400 only cost me $268.00 considering Disney was upgrading to quad 9000's... they decided to get rid of all the 8400's and give them up for dirt cheap to their employees. So, once again...STFU. Don't act like you have any clue as to what you're doing. You and your bikes are a laughingstock. Gee, I guess you're right. Nobody has ever heard about the origins of mountain biking. Please enlighten us. They were forced to experiment because mountain bikes and mountain bike parts didn't exist yet. The reason they kept upgrading and inventing was because the stuff they experimented with was unsafe and didn't work well, and people started getting seriously hurt. There is no excuse for that today. You could have found the exact spec you needed for around the same price. You thought you could save some money by using an out-of-spec substitute (f*ck it, it's close enough, right?) Don't try to act like you are some misunderstood bike genius tinkering around with geometries and spring rates. You're just dumb and drunk. That's all. And you don't know sh!t about me so keep your opinions to yourself. Every MTB I've ever owned were built from the frame up and maintained solely with my own two hands. And all of my bikes are quality builds, with special attention paid to bike purpose, riding style, quality of parts, and aesthetics, in that order. Your bikes have no thought put into them whatsoever, other than what parts you can get on special from Performance or Mr. Chin's bargain box. I would honestly be embarrassed to ever claim to have ridden one of your bikes, let alone own one and post pictures of it on the internet. A bike, like a car, is a reflection of its owner. Your bikes are living, festering proof of this. (Could someone please post some pictures of FatScat's abominations? It's been a few months anyway, so we're overdue.) Experimenting with a camshaft, or cylinder heads, or intake/exhaust systems on a 69 Camaro is one thing, but you wouldn't put a 4" lift with off-road tires on there would you? Well, maybe you would.
