 Vaude hydration packs
Anyone know if there are any So Cal local dealers? I have an old one and am thinking of replacing it. The site shows no dealers in the US.

I'm not sure if they're still around. These are the same kind of supsension design and these packs kick ass and I highly recommend them. All the weight sits on your hips and your back stays cool, like your Vaude, but the pockets are much better.

none of those will carry a full-face helmet securely, along with leg armor and a flak jacket - useless I tell ya....

I thought that's what the back of a pickup truck is for.

Hey Tortuga - Let me know if you come across any Vaude pack retailers or contact info for the company. I've been looking for their Siena 40 pack without luck. One of the guys I raced with at the Sea Otter in April '05 had one and it looked tight. Vaude's website appears to be inaccessible and I'm wondering if they've closed up shop. The only other high-volume pack I've come across with airspace between the pack and the rider's back is the BASK Voyager-35.
