 hayes disc brakes
my brakes squeek there hayes nine hydrolic brakes and i dont no what to do but the front one has lost some hydrolic fluid is that bad?

    Pull the pads out and see if any brake fluid has gotten on them. It will look glossy most likely if it has. Try roughing them up with some light sandpaper either way. Clean the rotor/pads with rubbing alcohol. See if that helps at all, good luck.

    If your real talented you can fold the paper over the rotor, pull the lever till the pads touch and move the wheel back and forth.

    yah you problably got some brake fluid on your pads. You may have also accidently sprayed oil on them..that happend to me when I first started riding. Take it to your local bike shop shouldn't cost to much to fix. They just put new pads on.
