 Biking in Sherman Oaks
Could anyone help me with suggestions for nearby trails? Thanks!

You're between two nice trailheads. Head up the hill and West and you're at Dirt Mullholland. Head East to Studio City and you've got miles of trails at Fryman Canyon, Betty B Dearing Trail and Franklyn Canyon.

There are a lot of good trails nearby, many within a few minutes ride from your neighborhood.

A good loop that mixes street and dirt, is to head south on Dixie Canyon, crossing over Ventura Blvd, traffic lightens up quickly, as the (paved) road doesn't go all the way through to Muhlholland, but a nice little chunk of dirt does.

Once at Muhlholland, take a left and after a mile or two of paved, you'll get to Coldwater Cyn. From there, you have the option of dropping in to Franklyn Cyn, Tree People, or continuing on to Betty Deering. All are great options.

Be considerate to other trails users, I'd miss those trails if they got closed to bikes.
