 GMR status?
Is GMR open to bikes? I want to climb to Mt Baldy ski lifts in the next couple of weeks.

    GMR is open to bikes after 4:30pm Mon-Sat. And open all day on Sunday. They have a bunch of machinery clearing landslides, etc(even on Saturdays), so they don't want bikes on there during that time.

    Why not ride Baldy road straight up? It's not that bad. :-)

      We've been riding it on Saturdays with no problems. The sign is on,but the rangers/workers don't say a thing to us. Sundays are pretty busy up there though.
