 ENsenNada Ride Question
This is about the Rosarito to Ensenada ride . Hello does anyone know if the hill "El Tigre" is anything as difficult as Turnull Cayon or say Colima Road from Whitter Blvd to over the hill? Thanks-Steve

El tigre is not as bad as you may think, it's a good climb, but it's short (2 miles); think of turnbull but with out the crazy switchbacks. if you do long distances with climbs you'll be fine, it's the only real climb on the course. i do this ride on my mountain bike with knobbies, and i just fly up el tigre. have fun there, i'll be there myself.

See you there Armando. We are going Friday and we've rented a house till Sunday.I can't wait to get my teeth into some of those mystery meat street tacos again. I hope we see each other, maybe we'll ride for awhile.I'm bringing the road bike. Are you going with a big group?

El Tigre isn't that bad. There is another climb before you descend back to the toll road/coast line. That climb is actually a bit harder. Everyone just remembers the first one. The fish tacos at the end are great so bring some beer & taco cash. Also, the tamale house after El Tigre is a great spot to take a break. It will be the only stucture with about 500+ bikes parked around it in the middle of nowhere. It's always a true FUN ride!!! C U all there!
