At the Mt. Sac. Fall Fat Tire Classic, My Face contacted a barb wire fence at about 30MPH. I would like to talk to and thank the person (The Only Person) who stopped to to help me! Without his help and his bike I could have very well bled to death right there. The self-less act of letting me use his bike got me to the paramedics, Ambulance and ER in the nick of time. This person basically gave up their chances of a descent finish to help a total stranger. Not only did he give me his bike, but had to reassemble mine to get him self back to Start/Finish! Wow! If anyone knows this person or has talked anyone who may of heard of this carnage and knows who he is, Please contact me @ (714) 412-3298 or E-me.

Hey, I believe the name of the person who helped you is David. He is a good friend of STP, a regular in the SocalMTB message board. You may want to post this message there. I think David also posts there, but I don't know his nickname. I heard about your accident and I hope you are OK. I want to wish you a speedy recovery Posted by Pilas a 34 year old Cross-Country Rider riding a Cannondale Hardtail/ Schwinn Rocket from Irvine on 11/27/02
