I've got some wooden forks if you want a prototype to follow. ;)

    Dear Chris:

Are you still into building wooden bike? it would be a great project!
I want to inform you about a certain wood species. Here in the Philippines the most durable wood is Molave (Vitex parviflora). It is being used here in a variety of implements like wooden plow, wooden borer frame, tool handles, and other uses that needed strength. Check it out.
