Looking for a good ride in Phoenix, & a bike
I'm visiting Phoenix from March 14-17 and would like to get in some training rides early mornings, Wed. through Fri.
I'm a novice racer (CAT 4/5) and would like to do 25-35 miles per day with some climbs involved. ANY ADVICE ON POSSIBLE ROUTES? I'm staying in downtown Phoenix and will have a rental car so I can drive to a starting destination within a reasonable distance from the hotel (located on North Central Ave.)
Also, Alaska airlines informed me that they charge $50 each way to transport my bike so I was wondering where I might get a reasonable rental - a good road bike 56-58" frame. I'm 5'10", 160 lbs and currently ride a Giant TCR, size large frame.
