For Sale GT speed series
I don't ride anymore so I'm selling my race bike.
Aluminum frame size XL
rear rim is Sun BFR, front is Araya 7x
both rims have sealed hubs, are 36 spoke, and black anodized
Elf handlebars
DK stem
Bullseye cranks
Crupi pedals
Shimano v-brakes
The bike is complete and race ready. If bought new it would
probably cost over $800.00
The frame was cracked but I had it professionaly repaired with a large brace welded in. I bought it used so I could
not get it replaced under warranty. The repair is very
solid and I raced with it this way for several years. The
frame actually feels stronger with the brace welded in. I
will try to describe it. The downtube cracked where it is
welded to the top tube, behind the headset. I had the welder cut a triangular piece to fit where the two tubes meet.
Price is $300 firm.
You can e-mail me with questions. I will disassemble and
ship it if necessary, however there will be shipping costs,
probably $30-$40.
