Flagstaff is awesome
I had the pleasure of riding in Flagstaff this weekend (Memorial Day), which I do about twice a year. The locals there were totally cool, as usual, helping me with an emergency trailside repair and directions when necessary. The riding (Sunset Trail, Schultz Creek, etc.) was awesome as usual. The atmosphere in Flag is also great, as it seems that every 3rd car has a mountain bike strapped to it and people are riding around town on mountain bikes everywhere you look. In all, I had a great time and will be back as soon as possible. Thanks!

yep, i've lived in flagstaf for all of my life and it is one of the best places I've ridden. this is a nice city for sure. The atmosphere is great and like you said, Sunset is awesome.

Good to hear. This weekend I'm driving from San Diego to Tempe to pick up my son, attending ASU, and we're going mountain biking up by Flagstaf. I'm trying to figure out where to go. Any references you can point me to? We're both medium level riders. Both have front suspension, I have back. Both in pretty good health. Looking for good trails.
